Alaskan History Magazine was a full color bimonthly magazine featuring stories and photos of the people, places and events which shaped the history of Alaska from prehistory to statehood. The managing editor was Alaskan author Helen Hegener, and the magazine was published by Northern Light Media, a company she founded in 2007.
NOTE: Production of the magazine stopped in June, 2021, when Northern Light Media returned to publishing books about the history of the North. The fourteen issues published will remain available through Amazon.
